Meet Fiji
This is Fiji. She’s a three-year-old Sun Conure, and she talks more than any Sun Conure I’ve ever met. An actual Chatty Kathy.
She says ‘good girl’ all the time, which is convenient, because she is a very good little girl. It’s nice when we agree on these things.
Fiji has a sweet little disposition. She enjoys handling once trust is built, loves having her little head scratched, and is stick trained. She can be cautious with someone new, so give her a little time to get comfortable. Go slowly and let her decide when she’s ready.
She’s also a foodie. Snacks are a very good place to start getting acquainted. She takes them seriously, though, so let the girl eat before you ask her to do anything else.
We’re looking for someone who will enjoy all that conversation, pay attention to her body language, and give her the time and company she deserves. A little patience, a familiar step-up stick, and a person who thinks her little running commentary is as lovely as we do.
