VET BILLS

We currently have a zero balance owed to Jolly Road Veterinary!!! That said, Jolly Road always accepts credits towards our accounts.

Usually, this bill incudes surgeries needed for birds, sometimes birds are surrendered whose owners can’t afford care, emergency visits, seizures and just regular old exams for intake.

To help with this need, you can call Jolly Road Veterinary Hospital in Lansing, Michigan (517)-977-1095 and ask them to apply your payment to the Birds and Beaks account. If you do this please let us know by dropping us a note on our contact page.

Or, alternatively, you can use our donate page to make a monetary donation to the rescue and in your notes, earmark those funds for vet bills.

DOLLARS

At the end of the day, what helps the most in a facility that houses over 200 animals every day is money. We have a mortgage, lights, gas, a pellet stove, and a ton of overhead cost. Our average monthly operating costs are right around $7000.00.

KINDESS BOXES

We are always in need of Kindness Boxes from Christine’s Chop Shop. We mix this food with pellets, and it is what gives the birds their fruits and veggies. You can order them from Christine at at large discount for the rescue. And if your birds haven’t tried Christine’s Chop Shop, they’re missing out!

PELLETS

We need pellets here constantly. We mix pellet with Christine’s Chop Shop, and we like to keep a variety of pellet on hand. Pellets vary in price depending on where you get them and how high the demand is.
