VISITING THE

RESCUE

Not a petting zoo. Not a tourist stop.

But definitely worth your time—if you're serious.

Let’s Set Expectations

We’re a working rescue, not an exhibit. We’re not open for public visits, drop-ins, or “just looking” tours. Our birds are in recovery, and our humans are doing the heavy lifting. It’s not glamorous - but it’s real. We just aren’t staffed to handle unscheduled interruptions.

Volunteer

Get hands-on experience. Clean cages, prep meals, and spend meaningful time with the flock. You’ll work hard—but you’ll love it.

Adopt a Bird

Start by filling out an adoption application. If approved, we’ll schedule a private meet-and-greet with potential matches.

Please Don’t…

...just show up. We can’t stress this enough. No walk-ins. No unscheduled visits. No “I just wanted to see the birds.”

This is not a button, it is a test!

We care deeply about our birds—and that means protecting their space.

If you care too, we’d love to meet you… through the proper channels.
