Jean-Pierre is accepting applications for a best friend. The main qualification is being willing to earn the job.
He’s a small Half Moon Conure, approximately 4–5 years old, who is curious about people but still learning to trust what they’re asking of him.
He isn’t ready to step straight out of his cage on request. Once he’s out, he’s more comfortable stepping up, coming over to investigate, and answering with his little squeaks when you talk to him. Those are the moments we want his next person to notice and build on.
His previous family reported that he enjoys millet and foraging toys. He needs someone who will spend time with him, respect his space, and give him reasons to feel safe. We haven’t seen a clear preference for men or women.
How he got here
Jean-Pierre’s previous family brought him to the rescue to help him find his next home.
